Darren and Eilish’s beautiful wedding films starts out in Mayo and then onto the impressive Lough Rynn Hotel. We managed to stop along the way for some dramatic wedding film footage at a lake side location that is a favorite of Gary Barrette photography. I had some fun with the lighting in the gardens of Lough Rynn as you can see in the wedding video clip below. I loved covering this day as I got to see a few familiar faces, three years ago I was the wedding videographer for Darren's brother’s wedding Jason and his wife Ciara, so it was great to see everyone again! It won’t be too long before there is another catch up as I am looking forward to filming Eilish’s sisters big day in 2020!

Shane and Katie got married in Katie's local church, which happens to be one of Ireland's most historical. Ballintubber Abbey looked amazing with the shimmer of wedding candles and the sound track provided by Shane's cousin The Whileaways was most impressive! It filled the abbey with the most beautiful harmonies and I would highly recommend taking in a gig by The Whileaways who regularly tour the country. If you jump across to my Instagram page you can see a wedding film trailer with the church music incorporated. Knockranny House Hotel was where the cosy wedding reception was held on this wintery November day. Check out Shane and Katie’s beautiful wedding video highlights below.

For Brendan and Edith's wedding film I was delighted to be able to get some great aerial shots of Killala town and its historical Church and round tower. Killala has become a very regular film location for me as I have covered many wedding videos for Edith and her extended group of friends. I love seeing all these ladies again and again, the craic is always great! The day may have been blustery but the welcome was warm at the Diamond Cost Hotel where Mary and her team expertly looked after  Brendan and Edith's wedding guests.

Laura and Kevin travelled back home to celebrate their big day with all their family and friends in the Galway Bay Hotel.  We did have a little rain on and off during the day but this isn't always an obstacle to gathering great wedding film footage. Sometimes cosy shots under archways, trees and umbrellas makes for a unique wedding film. I would advise any Irish bride to have a set of pretty umbrellas to hand on the day of their wedding as it allows your photographer and videographer to still get great shots.  Galway University is always a great spot to get good footage regardless of the weather and it didn't disappoint for Laura and Kevin’s big day! Paul and Nicola's wedding video highlights really reflects their great day! As a videographer I really enjoyed filming this beautiful wedding. The couple were married in Lusk Church with their reception after in the amazing Darver Castle. The talented Joanne Halligan from JH-Photography was responsible for the direction of photography on the day. The flowers and cake was supplied by Once Upon a Time. Finally Nicola's make up was designed by Michelle Regazzoli-Stone. Everyone had an amazing day celebrating this beautiful couples big day. Check out their amazing wedding video highlights below.
